Metal surface protective film production process

The production of the metal surface protective film can be mainly divided into three parts. First, the production of the blown film is carried out, usually in a heated drum, the polyethylene particles are pushed by the screw to the circular die mouth, and the compressed air will be melted. The liquid is inflated and, after being cooled by air, is wound into a film. The properties of the blown film in the transverse and longitudinal directions are different.


The next step is the coating of the colloid. Generally, in the process of producing the metal surface protective film product, the corona film can be directly coated with the polyacrylate glue, and the primer is not required. The protective film is then passed through a long air heating channel (80 ~ 120 ° C) to ensure that the water or solvent is evaporated, then the protective film is cooled by a chill roll and finally wound up.


After the winding is completed, it is also necessary to rewind, slit and effectively store. Generally, the metal surface protection film is directly rewound by the coater to the length required by the customer. For short protective films, a knife can be used for slitting. The protective film can generally be stored in a warehouse at room temperature of 30 ° C without direct sunlight for 12 months.
